Newport Engagement Session Castle Hill Inn

August 11, 2025

A & S knew they wanted to capture this moment before their wedding and chose Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI as the perfect setting. With sweeping ocean views and a historic lighthouse nearby, it offered the kind of timeless beauty that matched the emotion of the day.

The wind didn’t let up, but A & S held on to each other and kept smiling. What made the session even more meaningful was the quiet exchange of gifts they had planned for each other simple, personal, and full of heart. It was an honor to witness and photograph such a tender moment between them.

After the gift exchange, we explored the area just outside the hotel. The Castle Hill Lighthouse, only a short 5-minute walk away, gave us a stunning backdrop for the final shots. Even in the chill, they brought warmth to every frame.

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET arlinda

Photographer. Artist. Storyteller.
Inspired by music, movement, natural light, and the quiet beauty of real moments

My background in music, dance, and visual arts taught me to see emotion, movement, and connection in a deeper way. Each of these creative paths shaped how I experience the world and ultimately led me to photography.

I approach photography with a candid, documentary mindset, focusing on real moments as they naturally unfold. I’m drawn to the beauty of natural light and the quiet in-between moments that often hold the most meaning. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable and fully yourself, so your story can be captured in the most honest and authentic way.
